Funding Guides

Find the Right Funding Category.

Eight focused guides covering the grants people actually search for — with live opportunities, eligibility criteria and a step-by-step application path.

Start with the outcome, not the programme name.

Most applicants lose time by searching for a specific programme they half-remember. A better path is to define the outcome you need funded — a home repair, a certification, a piece of equipment, a debt balance — and then match that outcome to the categories below.

Each category page explains who qualifies, what the money can pay for, which documents reviewers expect and how the decision process works. The live opportunities on each page link directly to their official source, so you can verify every detail before you commit effort.

FedOP is a licensed, government-approved grant application support partner. We help with research, eligibility, documents and submission — final funding decisions always rest with the funding organisation.

Read the full FAQ
How do I know which grant category fits me?
Start with the outcome you need funding for, not the name of a programme. Personal needs (welfare, debt, training) sit under personal grants; property needs under home buyer or home repair; business needs under small business, startup or manufacturing. If two categories overlap, apply for the one whose eligibility criteria you can evidence most strongly.
Can I apply for grants in more than one category?
Yes, provided you disclose overlapping applications where asked and never submit duplicate applications to the same programme. A portfolio approach — one primary application plus one or two backups — is common.
Are the grants listed on FedOP free to apply for?
The programmes listed in the catalogue do not charge application fees. FedOP's professional support is a separate paid service, scoped in writing before work begins and never contingent on a funding outcome.
How often are the opportunities updated?
Listings are reviewed continuously and each opportunity shows its verification date plus a link to the official source. Deadlines and programme rules can change at any time, so always confirm current details with the funder before submitting.
